The following are based on my own experiences. I have worked with them personally, either for my own hosting needs, or for a client who already had domains or hosting set up.
I really like this hosting company, WestHost. They have given me very good customer service throughout my relationship with them. They have a wide range of hosting options, depending on your needs, and they offer a little more flexibility and capacity than, say GoDaddy, for more demanding users. For instance, they give you the option of unlimited mailbox size, up to your plan’s server space. Not that everyone needs that, but if you want it you can have it. GoDaddy.com has good prices and great customer service. Their plans are perfect for blog hosting, business sites and so forth. The only people who might have any issue are those who email (and like to keep) large files in their inbox. No one else should be bothered by any limitations. I’ve always gotten a helpful, knowledgeable representative when I’ve called for help. That means a lot to me.
